Ageing: the golden opportunity 8-10 November 2017 CROWN PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

The 2017 Conference

The Australian Association of Gerontology (AAG) is hosting its 50th Annual Conference in Perth
from Wednesday 8th to Friday 10th November 2017,
with pre-conference Workshops and MasterClasses on Tuesday 7th November 2017

The AAG Conference focuses on evidence based, multidisciplinary approaches and
brings together people from all sectors in ageing
with a wide range of professional interests.

The theme for the 2017 Conference is “Ageing: The Golden Opportunity”. In Perth, this conference will provide plenty of ‘Eureka moments’’ to explore the future of ageing, including health and wellbeing and the economic potential of our ageing society.

This conference will provide a forum to reflect on the potential golden opportunity of our ageing society, now and into the future. It will seek to describe and create ways in which we can best support and enhance health and well-being. It will seek to encourage debate on the nature of our society and the importance of ageing within it. It will seek to demonstrate how ground-breaking research and evidence-based policy can harness the great value of our diverse and ageing population for the benefit of all.

While this promises to be great conference opportunity not to be missed, coming to Perth for the AAG conference also provides a chance to add on a holiday to experience the great diversity and richness of rural and regional Western Australia.

Join us to explore the Golden Opportunity that ageing brings.

We look forward to welcoming you to Perth in November 2017.
